I am an Osteopath, Holistic Pelvic Care practitioner, lecturer, researcher and creator and host of «The Soft Rebellion Podcast». And, I am a woman who suffered from an eating disorder for many years and found healing through movement, body awareness and uncovering the creative power of my menstrual cycle.

I initially trained as a dancer in Denmark and the Netherlands. During this time, I encountered many somatic practices, in particular the Alexander Technique and Ideokinesis which continuously taught me as a facilitator the art of creating space and finding ease in movement by using images and imaginations.

The wish of engaging my hands in care for others led me to gain a Masters` degree at the European School of Osteopathy. I later gained a diploma as a specialist paediatric Osteopath from the Osteopathic Center in London, trained as an Infant Feeding Coach and deepened my studies of anatomy at the University of Edinburgh. I also studied with the Sutherland Cranial College and the biodynamic pathway of Osteopathy. I use a range of osteopathic approaches in my treatments, with a particular interest in biodynamic cranial osteopathy. Although I treats patients of all ages, I have a particular interest in the osteopathic care of children, babies, and women across all ages and menstrual stages.

My passion for the female body, the menstruating body, the body with a womb, led me to qualify as a Menstruality Mentor through Red School UK, as well as to train as a Holistic Pelvic Care™ practitioner with Tami Lynn Kent.

I am strongly committed to promoting education about pelvic health and providing preventative support that helps women and menstruators reconnect with their pelvic space, natural cycles, and creativity.

I am currently working on a doctorate thesis exploring the practice of Menstrual Cycle Awareness through the moving body and dance at Goldsmiths University in London.

I am practicing in private clinics in North and South East London, as well as I’m offering online session and home visits.

Flurina is currently based in London where she practices, teaches and researches.
